一、教学重点

1. 词汇、词组搭配和常用表达。

（1）能正确使用下列词汇

Newspaper, soup, movie, house, tea, pool, shop, supermarket, man, race, the United states, child, use, wash, drink, study, miss, wish, American, special, any, other, young, delicious, just, tomorrow, still

（2）能正确使用下列常用表达

living room, read a newspaper, talk on the phone, make soup, TV show,eat out, make dinner, drink tea, on weekends, dragon boat race

2. 现在进行时

（1）现在进行时中现在分词的结构及读音，能分辨短语和句子中的重音，并能在朗读中适度把握重音。

（2）能正确使用现在进行时态陈述正在发生的事情并进行回答，并可以熟练掌握句型，变换为否定句、一般疑问句和特殊疑问句。

What are you doing?               

I’m watching TV.

What’s she doing?                 

She is washing the dishes.

Are you doing your homework?      

Yes, I am./No, I’m not.I’m cleaning my room.

Is he reading a newspaper?         

Yes, he is./No, he isn’t. He is talking on the phone.

（3）能根据动词的变化规律写出正确的现在分词形式

play—playing       

make—making     

swim—swimming

二、教学难点

能根据语境，分辨一般现在时态与现在进行时态。

She is reading a newspaper (now).

She reads a newspaper (every day/ in the morning/ on Monday)
