Teaching and learning Goals:
一、语言知识和语言功能:
1.能争取学会使用下列词汇 (Curriculum words)
rule, arrive, hall, listen, fight, sorry, outside, wear, important, bring, uniform, quiet;
2.能争取学会使用下列常用短语(Useful expressions)
arrive late for class=be late for class, run in the hallways, eat in the dining hall,
must be on time, listen to music(in the classroom).
3.能争取使用祈使句陈述规章制度;能简单谈论规章制度; 能使用情态动词表示许可。
Don’t fight. Don’t arrive late for class. Don’t eat in class.
We can’t eat in the dining hall, but we can’t eat in class.
A: Can we wear a hat in school?
B: Yes, we can.\ No, we can’t.
二、学习策略:
采用“Listening for specific information,Practicing”(任务驱动—情景语用)
三、情感态度:
The students share school rules and family rules with others. Encourage the students to behave as the saying says"Do actions just as I say !"

Step I. Pre-listening activities
1.) Preview
Ask the Ss to translate the following Chinese into English. First ask the Ss to put them into English orally, then let them write English down without looking at the textbooks.

1. Let’s watch a Disney cartoon and answer:

( 情境导入,自然渗透。)
2. T:Hello, everyone! Look at the clock. What time is it? It’s 9:10 now. Our class begins at 9:05. If you come to class after9:05, you are late for class. Can we arrive late for class? No, we can’t. (板书这一句型。)Yes, you are right. Now, please look! This is a school rule. (PPT show:Don’t arrive late for class.
(利用教室内的实物钟表以及多媒体图片,教师结合学生已较为熟悉的情态动词can的句式呈现单词及短语表达法,进而把重点转到规章制度的文字表述上,让学生学习其书面表达。利用图片依次呈现本节课的单词及常用表达,在语境中理解学习, 同时板书重点。)

Step III. Post-listening activities(Pairwork and groupwork)
1 Competition
Have a competition between boys and girls, let them say as many school rules as they can. Have a talk like this:
T: There are many school rules in our school. What rules are they? Can you name any of them?
S1:Don’t eat in class.
S2 : We can’t fight. … Get groups of students ask and answer questions one by one.
2.Play a game to practice oral English.
Just like this:
A: What are the rules?
B: Well, we can’t arrive late for class. We must be on time.
A: Can we run in the hallways?
B: No, we can’t.
A: Can we eat in the dinning hall ?
B: Yes, we can.
A: What are the other rules?
B: Well, we can’t ...
(此部分为语言输出环节,重在引领学生根据听力部分的内容,通过pairwork/groupwork的方式对话,来恰当的运用本节课的重点句型。学生参与度高,小组PK热烈.)
3.Role-play the conversation (2d)
First imitate the conversation, make sure Ss can read the conversation fluently, then several pairs come to the front and act it out. Ask ss to greet each other freely.
(让学生自由组合,进行英语会话。分角色表演会话是七年级学生比较喜欢的一项活动,学生积极性高,表现欲强。及时对表现好的组合给予表扬和鼓励.)
Step IV. Summary:Inquiry into knowledge by translation
1 Get the Ss to read the sentences(PPT) and try to summarize the language rules about “Imperative Sentences” .
2 Fill in the blanks. The Ss can help each other and have a discussion after reading the following by themselves.
知识点拨
一.arrive late for= be late for 做某事迟到。
arrive late for侧重到达的时间晚,be late for侧重于状态。
Don’t arrive late for class next time.= Don’t be late for class next time.
1) arrive 表示“到达某地”arrive + town/station(小地点)
arrive + city/ country(大地点)
2)arrive后不可直接接宾语,但可接 之类的地点副词。

二、have to与must
1) have to意为“ ”强调“ ”

天晚了。现在我必须要回家。
练一练:用have to, must 填空

三、初识祈使句
祈使句表示命令、请求、劝告、征求对方意见等,一般省略主语(you)。
1.肯定祈使句一般以 开头:
Run in the hallways.
2.祈使句的否定形式一般在动词原形前加_________:

(别忘了,以let开头的句子也是祈使句的一种结构哦!)
至少写出6个祈使句(三个肯定祈使句和三个否定祈使句)
★想一想: 你们还有哪些知识不理解?老师也许可以帮你。
(教师要引导学生们运用他们从实践中的感知来尝试归纳语言规律,然后再给以必要帮助。通过小组讨论的形式可获得更为准确的答案。)

本节课亮点:
本课采用Listening for specific information,Practicing,利用教学图片来展开课堂Pair work,group work让学生学会使用祈使句及情态动词can,must,have to来谈论家规及校规。
创设较为真实的语用环境进行口语交际,学生参与面广, 不同层次的学生均有所获。 基础较差学生能运用所学进行简单的交际练习。英语能力较强的学生则进行了大量的交流和口头练习。学生可以通过思考、交流和合作等方式,更好的学习和使用英语,完成学习任务。
不足之处:在听后活动这一环节,Pair work,group work展演过程中,占用时间较多,课堂显得较为匆忙,以后注意时间的调配。
使用注意事项:
通过本节课的教学实践,我认识到教学成功与否,学生掌握程度如何,关建在于教师如何创造性地设计课堂教学。任务的设计要体现多样化和层次感,做到有针对性,使每一层面的学生皆有所得。
