Unit 12 The Spring Festival 第二课时 教案 

一、教学目标

() 语言目标

1. 词汇:巩固B部分的词汇;能听懂、会说新单词Lunar New Year, wish, happiness

2. 句型:能运用“What do you do during the Spring Festival?” “Do you...? ” “What do people do during the Spring Festival?” “We/They/People …”谈论春节的习俗。

3. 语篇:能理解课文D部分短文,完成相关练习。

() 应用目标

1. 了解并尊重不同文化习俗。

2. 能理解课文D部分短文,完成相关练习。

3. 能综合运用所学语言知识介绍自己家乡的新年风俗。

 

二、教学重、难点

1. 重点:在D部分教学中复习和巩固已学的词汇和句型,扩充词汇量。

2. 难点:使用与春节有关的词汇来谈论春节的活动。

 

三、教学准备

单词卡片、课文录音、课本图片、多媒体课件等。

 

四、教学过程

Step 1热身/复习(Warm-up/Revision)

1. Greetings

2. Free talk

3. Review the short phrases of Part B. Label the pictures with the phrases.

(1) Read the phrases.

(2) Ask the Ss to label the pictures with the phrases.

(3) Make some sentences with the phrases.

Step 2 趣味练习(Practice)

1. New phrase: the Lunar New Year

T: The Spring Festival is Chinese New Year. We also call it the Lunar New Year.

2. Review Part A

T: People do many activities to celebrate the Spring Festival. Can you find out how does Mrs Zhang’s family celebrate the Spring Festival?

3. Brain storm

Let the Ss imagine what the people do during the Spring Festival. Talk about the Spring Festival.

(设计说明:通过讨论今天的主题The Spring Festival,并从整体到小组再到个体进行操练,让学生基本掌握今天的内容。)

4. Talk about customs you have in your hometown.

借助多媒体欣赏不同地域的不同春节习俗,然后让来自不同地方的学生分享各自不同的春节风俗。

Step 3 阅读拓展(Let’s read)

1. 听读激趣,整体感知语篇

D部分录音。教师充分利用多媒体调动学生的阅读兴趣,并在播放录音前提出问题,引导学生根据问题抓住短文的主旨。

T: What do people do during the Spring Festival? Please listen to the passage and put a tick to the activities that have been mentioned in the passage.

2. 合作阅读,共同解决问题

(1) 采用小组合作的方式阅读D部分短文,在语篇中寻找关键动词,并完成D部分的填空练习。

T: Please open your book and read Part D with your partners. Then find out the key verbs and fill in the blanks.

What do people do during the Spring Festival?

They buy many_flowers.

They cook delicious_food.

They wish each_other_happiness_and_good_luck.

(2) 再次阅读课文,完成D部分的判断题。

(3) 采用各种方式朗读课文。

3. 读后活动,提升巩固成果

(1) 让学生根据上面的图表复述短文。

(2) 说说春节你最喜欢的活动是什么。可以小组的形式进行,先在组内说,然后教师抽查。

Step 4 作业布置(Homework)

1. 听录音,读课文。

2. 用英语向你的朋友介绍春节。
